VIC Bushfires

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all involved in the VIC bushfires, what a very sad tragedy that has taken so many beautiful lives. So far they have counted 181 lives taken and thousands of houses, schools etc destroyed. Everyone is in such shock and wondering what they can do to help..

Here are just a few links to point you in the right direction. They will be needing help for many months to come so please dig deep to help rebuild their lives from the devastation that the Victorian bushfires have caused.



Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal: Donations can be made by calling 1800 811 700 or at http://www.redcross.org.au/ or donations can be made at any NAB, ANZ, Westpac or Commonwealth Bank branch or Bunnings store.



Anyone wanting to donate blood to contact the Red Cross website at donateblood.com.au or by phoning 131 495 to book an appointment.



Coles supermarket: All profits from all stores will be donated to the Bushfire Appeal on Friday 13th Feb



The Salvation Army: Money donations can be made at salvationarmy.org.au or by phoning 137 258.



St Vincent de Paul: Donations can be made at www.vinnies.org.au/tas or by phoning 131 812.

Today after doing my grocery shopping at Coles I discovered on their website that the supermarket has managed to raise $1,600,000 for the Bushfire Appeal :)
